These are websites that I have especially enjoyed in time of COVID-19. Some are described in more detail in other posts. Some ask for contributions: please consider this as you are able!

1. League for Yiddish. https://leagueforyiddish.org
Founded by Mordkhe Schaechter, formerly headed by Sheva Zucker, and now led by Board Chair Gitl Schaechter-Viswanath, League for Yiddish has much to explore.
I especially like their Verter fun der Vokh (Words of the Week) page, featuring over 100 vocabulary posts, some (but not all) with little stories, using both Yiddish and Latin letters, as well as English translations and a vocabulary list. A nice way to keep up language, learn new words, etc.
2. Yidlid. http://yidlid.org
This website features Yiddish songs in Yiddish letters, Latin letters English and French.
3. Yiddish Songs Online. http://www.yiddishsongsonline.com
Not as extensive as Yidlid. Songs are in transliteration and translation, but not in Yiddish letters.
4. Yiddish Poetry http://www.yiddishpoetry.org/index.html
A beautiful poetry collection with links to read poems in Yiddish or (clicking another link) in English translation. This website can be a little hard to navigate, but well worth the effort!
5. More sources of Yiddish lyrics are posted elsewhere in this blog at:
https://joansyiddishblog.blogspot.com/2021/10/yiddish-lyrics-online-some-more.html
6. Rukhl Schechter's Word of the Day; access in English or Yiddish at:
https://forward.com/yiddish/444999/learn-yiddish-with-the-forverts-word-of-the-day-videos/ and noted elsewhere on this blog. (And see them all at: https://joansyiddishblog.blogspot.com/2021/11/all-of-rukhl-schechters-word-of-day.html ) Then use back arrow to return to this page.
7. Yiddish Book Center's Digital Library features over 11,000 Yiddish titles available to read online or download free of charge. Many other resources also available!
https://www.yiddishbookcenter.org
And -- this seems to be the same:
https://www.yiddishbookcenter.org/collections
8. Jewish Folk Songs http://www.jewishfolksongs.com
A large collection of songs with lots of history and explanatory texts.
Quite a few are from Yiddish. Available in English and Hebrew. Not all the links work from this website but many do.
9. Yiddish Lexicon
http://yleksikon.blogspot.com/2019/09/shamir.html
Biographies and other information about literary personages who wrote in Yiddish. It includes a complete Latin-letter search tool and claims over 7000 entires.
Enjoy these great resources!
